Erbil Branch of Kurdistan Regional Importers and Exporters participated in the opening of the 16th International Construction Exhibition (Build Expo 2026).

Today on 27-8-2029 Mr. (Rasul Haji Omar) President of Erbil Branch of Kurdistan Regional Importers and Exporters and Mr. (Sheikh Khalid Warti) Deputy President of the Branch and Mr. (Dshuan Sherzad Sheikh, Hemn Ramadan) members of the Executive Board of Erbil Branch Mr. Sasan Osman Ouni, Minister of Municipalities and Tourism, Mr. Sarwar Kamal Hawar, Deputy Minister of Commerce and Industry, Dr. Mohammed Shukri, Chairman of the Kurdistan Regional Investment Board, Mr. Omid Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, Mr. Safin Dzeyi, Head of Foreign Relations Office They participated in the opening of the 16th International Construction Exhibition (Build Expo 2026) in Erbil at Sami Abdulrahman Park
This exhibition is one of the most important trade and industry in the field of construction, concrete and building materials, technology and construction equipment, design, equipment and related services, which consisted of (450) companies from the Kurdistan Region and Iraq and (20) foreign countries participated.
The participation of the Erbil branch of importers and exporters in this exhibition is an important step to develop trade relations, introduce the potential of the Kurdistan Regional Government market, create new opportunities for trade partnerships and attract investment and technology to the region.
During the participation, the President of the Erbil Branch and his accompanying delegation met with a number of companies, manufacturers and businessmen in the construction sector and discussed how to expand trade relations and create opportunities for cooperation and partnership between local and international companies.
The importance of this exhibition is not only in showcasing new products and services but also an important panel presented by several government officials and business experts and also an important opportunity for exchange of experience, technology transfer, identifying market needs, company development and strengthening domestic production.
